Even though the Quakes' new stadium isn't set to open until the 2015 season, it's already being nominated for awards.
Our new home is up for the the Silicon Valley Business Journal's annual Structures Awards, specifically in the Community Impact category. The Structures Awards are an event where the SVBJ recognizes key players in commercial real estate, development, construction and design, shining a light on the Silicon Valley stars in these industries.
The awards ceremony and dinner will take place on September 25 at the Fairmont San Jose. Tickets to the event are still available.
