In conjuction with hosting MLS NEXT, a daylong event in New York City today, Major League Soccer unveiled their new brand ahead of the league's 20th season in 2015.
The logo, which is to celebrate the future of MLS while nodding to their past, is to mark the next phase of MLS's evolution. With new clubs, new media partnerships, new stadiums -
including our own new home opening in March 2015
- and new stars, the crest is meant to represent MLS's vision to become among the best leagues in the world by 2022.
Each club has a specific version of the league crest to reflect club identity and colors, which will be most prominently displayed on the club's uniform sleeve in 2015.
