Thank you to all of the fans who came out to the 2015 Earthquakes Wine and Dine event at The Mountain Winery in Saratoga.
The event, hosted for the fourth-consecutive year and the first time at the South Bay venue, raised over $86,000, the largest fundraiser the club has ever hosted. The money raised from the event will benefit programs such as Get Earthquakes Fit, the Summer Clinic series and the Kicks for Kids program that provides tickets to the under privileged. This year, we’ve already raised over $119,000 in donations.
The San Jose Earthquakes Community Fund facilitates and supports programs that produce positive change for children and families in our community with an emphasis in health and fitness. We strive to cultivate the game of soccer within the diverse communities of the Bay Area and promote unity through sport. So far this season, the team partnered with different organizations to donate over 11,000 tickets to children that otherwise would not have a chance to see a live soccer game.
