After tallying a goal and an assist for Sacramento Republic FC in Saturday’s commanding 4-0 win against Portland Timbers 2, Tommy Thompson was named to the USL Team of the Week for Week 22 Tuesday morning.
During the 2016 USL season, Thompson has scored and assisted three times, respectively, in six starts for Sacramento. Thompson last appeared for Republic FC on Saturday, Aug, 13, tallying two assists in a thrilling 4-3 win against Saint Louis FC.
