FEATURE: Several Quakes players to compete for Reno 1868 FC tonight

The San Jose Earthquakes are sending four players to Reno to compete with 1868 FC in tonight’s preseason match against Real Monarchs SLC. Kickoff is set for 5:45 p.m. The match will not be streamed.


Eric Calvillo, Luis Felipe, JT Marcinkowski and Tommy Thompson are suiting up for the USL side in their final preseason match ahead of next Saturday’s season opener against Swope Park Rangers. The quartet are all 22 years of age or younger.


The club’s first-round selection in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft, Paul Marie, will also be joining Reno for tonight’s match. He has not yet officially signed with San Jose.
