RENO 1868 FC’S MATT BERSANO EARNS SPOT ON USL TEAM OF THE WEEK

RENO, Nev. -- Following an incredible eight-save performance that salvaged a point against Phoenix Rising FC, Reno 1868 FC goalkeeper Matt Bersano earned a spot on the USL Team of the Week.

Bersano, a native of Chandler, Ariz., kept the Rising's top lineup at bay  in a crucial road performance Saturday.

The draw extended Reno's unbeaten streak to six-straight matches. Bersano is also undefeated in the Reno lineup this year and leads the club with five clean sheets.

Reno returns home to Greater Nevada Field for the final home match of the season Saturday, Oct. 13 against Orange County SC on Fan Appreciation Night. The first 1,868 fans will receive a free cooler bag thanks to Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe and KTVN.

Tickets for that match can be purchased at Reno1868FC.com/tickets or at the Greater Nevada Field ticket office.
