Quakes Unveil New Mini-Pitch at Arena Green Park
The San Jose Earthquakes, MLS WORKS, San Jose’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services (PRNS) and the U.S. Soccer Foundation unveiled a new mini-pitch at Arena Green Park in San Jose. The mini-pitch is the second of 2018 for the Quakes, who earlier this year unveiled a mini-pitch at Hornet Field in Alameda. The Quakes have now supported the construction of three mini-pitches in the Bay Area since 2016. Read the full story here.

Quakes goalkeeper Andrew Tarbell Nominated for MLS Save of the Year
Goalkeeper Andrew Tarbell has been nominated for MLS Save of the Year for his save against Sporting Kansas City on Sept. 15. Fans can vote for Tarbell through Sunday, Nov. 11. Vote for Tarbell here.

Earthquakes & Wells Fargo raise $24,500 for Goals for Education

The San Jose Earthquakes and Wells Fargo have raised $24,500 for the Goals for Education Fund, which provides scholarships for Santa Clara County High School students enrolling in two or four-year colleges. Through the Quakes partnership with Wells Fargo, for every goal the San Jose Earthquakes scored during the 2018 MLS regular season, Wells Fargo donated $500 to the Goals for Education Fund. The Quakes scored 49 goals this season, with Danny Hoesen scoring 12, and Chris Wondolowski and Vako each notching 10. Watch the goals here.

Earthquakes Goalkeeper Matt Bersano Undergoes Surgery on Hand
San Jose Earthquakes goalkeeper Matt Bersano underwent surgery to remove a bone fragment from his left hand. The surgery was performed by Dr. Roberto Diaz of Sutter Health and recovery is expected to take three weeks. Read the full story here.
