Despite holding the lead throughout the majority of their home match against OKC Energy FC, Reno 1868 FC were forced to settle for a point in a 3-3 draw on Saturday evening. Quakes goalkeeper Matt Bersano and midfielders Siad Haji and Gilbert Fuentes were in the Starting XI for Reno.
Fuentes’ assist, the first of his professional career, helped kickstart the scoring run for Reno. Subsequent goals from midfielders Seth Casiple and Sam Gleadle early in the second half put Reno ahead by three goals going into the final stretch of the match. OKC would score three late goals to equalize.
Reno 1868 FC remain undefeated on the season and look to continue their best start in club history when they take on Real Monarchs on Saturday, April 6 at Zions Bank Stadium.
