Viewing Parties and More Come to San Jose For 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup France!
The San Jose Earthquakes announced that Avaya Stadium will host viewing parties for all 52 matches of the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup this summer, giving fans an opportunity to watch the entire tournament on the stadium’s large video board. Entry and parking will be free for every viewing party so fans can celebrate and enjoy the beautiful game together.
The 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup will kick off Friday, June 7 at 12:00 p.m. as South Korea takes on hosts France. The Quakes will show every match, including the match that starts at 4 a.m., on the video board at Avaya Stadium. Fans that attend the first match of each day will receive free coffee and donuts, courtesy of the Quakes. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Similar viewing parties were held for the 2018 FIFA Men's World Cup and a total of 50,000 fans watched matches at Avaya Stadium during the tournament.
On June 8, the Quakes will have a home match at 12:30 p.m., the 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. World Cup matches will be played on the video board but fans will be seated in the stadium bowl. The first 100 fans that arrive before the 9 a.m. game will receive a complimentary ticket to the Quakes match. The noon World Cup match will be played at the bar's televisions.
During June 14, the viewing area for all matches this day will take place in the stadium's Sky Lounge. The front side of the video board will be on in addition to the televisions inside the Sky Lounge.
On certain days with high-profile matches extra in-stadium activations will be present inside the stadium. Inflatables, FIFA stations and more will be available for fans to enjoy during and in-between the matches.
Fans are also encouraged to dress up in support of their favorite team or player, with the best-dressed guest winning a prize every day of the competition.

Everyone that RSVPs for a viewing party will be entered to win a team autographed Quakes jersey at the end of the tournament.
The Quakes are hosting a Passport Program for the World Cup Viewing Parties. For each day of the World Cup, the Quakes will offer stamps for fans that attend any of the viewings at Avaya Stadium that they can later exchange for prizes. Fans can claim their prizes from the Quakes Brand Ambassadors at the viewing parties.
