Fan attendance for the beginning of the 2021 season will be limited to 20 percent in order to follow social distancing protocols set in place by local and state guidance. While Santa Clara County has moved into the Orange Tier, which allows for 33 percent capacity, the capacity will still be limited to 20 percent to allow for appropriate social distancing. Following approval by state officials, San Jose Earthquakes supporters will have an opportunity to return to PayPal Park for 2021 MLS matches in a limited capacity setting. The first limited capacity match is scheduled for Saturday, April 24. 

To ensure the health and safety of guests, players and staff, new health and safety protocols will be in effect during matches as part of the re-opening.
