‘Open’ and ‘Invitational’ Talent Identification Days

The Quakes Academy is the professional youth development sector of Major League Soccer and the San Jose Earthquakes. The Quakes Academy offers a unique pathway for the motivated and talented young players to grow and develop to their highest potentials both on and off the field of play.

Open’ Talent Identification Days: Showing your Stuff!

Throughout the months of May, June and July,  young players seeking to try-out for the Quakes Academy will have the opportunity to do so through ‘Open’ Talent Identification Days which take place at various locations and dates. These ‘Open’ days are free of cost and a great way to get on the Quakes Academy radar. Players can find out all the locations and sign up to attend up to two (2) of these ‘Open’ Days by clicking on their age-group/birth year.

The highly qualified Quakes Academy staff, along with local development partners will help organize these training days. These are great opportunities for the motivated young player to show their qualities, including technical, tactical, physical and mental qualities, while enjoying the game, learning, and making new friends in the game.

Invitational Player Identification Days

Players from these various ‘Open’ days may also be invited to the Invitational Player Identification Days which will include current  Quakes Academy players as well as other invited players from throughout the Bay Area who have been identified through various programs, scouting, and coaches recommendations.

The Quakes Academy program (U12/U13/U14/U15/U17/U19) is a professional development program playing in the USSDA and is geared towards highly motivated young soccer players who are already exhibiting strong abilities, motivations and qualities in the sport of soccer.
