2012 (Portland Timbers / Montreal Impact): Acquired by the Timbers on April 20 via trade with the Montreal Impact in exchange for an international slot in 2013 ... Made first start for Portland on June 24 against his former club Seattle Sounders FC, playing 66 minutes ... Came on as a second-half sub in his club debut May 5 vs. Columbus ... Notched his first MLS goal, a game-winning strike in second-half stoppage time, in a 1-0 win over the Kansas City Wizards on April 17; he had entered the match as a late sub in the 85th minute ... Became just the sixth player in MLS histroy to have their first MLS goal be a game-winning goal ... Tallied three goals in four appearances for Seattle in the 2010-11 CONCACAF Champions League ... Scored in a 3-2 loss to Mexico's Monterrey, the eventual tournament champion, Sept. 22 ... Registered his first career brace in a 2-0 win over Honduran side Marathón on Sept. 29.

2009 (Seattle Sounders FC): Selected in the fourth round (46th overall) by Seattle Sounders FC in the 2009 MLS SuperDraft ... Did not make a regular-season appearance and was limited by a foot injury ... Made appearances in international friendlies against England's Chelsea and Spanish club Barcelona.

College (Harvard): Completed his four-year collegiate career at Harvard University ranked No. 4 all-time in both career goals (32) and assists (24) ... Started 51 of his 69 games played for the Crimson ...
