2011: MLS: Reserves: Started, played 88 minutes and scored two goals in his MLS Reserve League debut during a week-long trial with the San Jose Earthquakes in June of 2011 … Brace came during the first half of a 3-0 home win over the LA Galaxy at San Jose’s Earthquakes Training Facility on June 6.

Professional Experience: Came to San Jose from SC Preussen Muenster of the 3. Liga, Germany’s third-tier division behind the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga … Led the team with seven goals in all competitions in 2011-12 at the time of his departure … Scored 14 goals in 56 league matches after returning to the club in 2010 … Team’s leading scorer in 2010-11 with seven strikes while helping them earn promotion to the 3. Liga … Also played at Preussen Muenster in 2005-06 … Previously played for SC Paderborn 07, Rot-Weiss Essen, FC Carl Zeiss Jena, 1. SC Feucht and MSV Duisburg in Germany, as well as Manisaspor and Denizlispor in Turkey … Produced 17 goals and eight assists in 39 appearances at Paderborn in 2008-09, winning the 3. Liga Golden Boot award and helping the club earn promotion to the 2. Bundesliga … Drew six Bundesliga substitute appearances for Duisburg in 1999-2000 … Played in the youth systems in Germany of VSC Donauworth and FC Augsburg … Made his professional debut with Augsburg at 17 and led the team with 12 goals.
