The San Jose Earthquakes held their first annual Corporate Cup kick off dinner at Britannia Arms Almaden on Thursday night. Team members and their families enjoyed food and drinks as well as an opportunity to mingle with Earthquakes players Jon Busch and Chris Leitch and the Shakers Squad.
The companies competing are Yahoo, Cadence, Vocera, and Zynga who each have one team. Additionally Britannia Arms Almaden and Britannia Arms Cupertino each have two teams. The teams and families enjoyed the kick off dinner and had fun sizing up the competition while taking pointers from the Earthquakes players.
The first annual Corporate Cup kicks off Saturday, July 31 on Stanton Field before the Earthquakes match versus Seattle Sounders FC. The winners will receive prizes, and all participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt as well a ticket to the Earthquakes game that evening.
