Fan Guide: Quakes continue CCL play in Guatemala

CD heredia DL

Kickoff: 7:00 p.m. PT at Estadio Juilo Tesucun
Television: Fox Soccer Plus, Univision Deportes 2

Heredia Scouting Report
Heredia are currently tied for first place in Group 5 with the Montreal Impact, with a game in hand. Heredia faced the Impact last week to open their CONCACAF Champions League play, and they ended up defeating the MLS powerhouses 1-0, all thanks to the lone goal from forward Charles Cordoba. Heredia, who qualified for the 2013-2014 CONCACAF Champions League by placing second in the Clausura standings, will look to secure their spot at the top before traveling to their away matches of group play.

Of Note:
-CD Heredia have started their 2013-14 campaign and are 2-0-2 to date
-Like San Jose, CD Heredia have three games in one week
-Their last result was a 1-0 loss against CD Malacateco on the road (over 500 KM / 310 miles away)
-Forward Osmar Lopez leads their squad this season with three goals
-A majority of their squad are Guatemalan, but they do count three Brazilians, one Panamanian, one Colombian and one Costa Rican among their ranks
