SAN JOSE, Calif. - What a month of June it was for the Quakes! San Jose recorded an undefeated 3-0-1 record in all competitions, two shutouts, a comeback Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup victory and a thrilling 3-1 California Clasico win against their MLS rivals. Here are the highlights of an eventful month of June.

Matias' Magical Moment - They call it the goal heard around MLS. Known for his pin-point passing in the midfield, Matias Perez Garcia proved that he can finish with the best of them in his goal in Seattle that won Goal of the Week honors! Not only was his finish sublime, it’s the way he evaded three Seattle defender en route to his first goal in 2015. He’s earned quite a few accolades in June, so why not add Best Goal of the Month to that list.
Best Celebration
Crowd Surfing - For Quakes defender Clarence Goodson, his first goal with the organization wouldn't have been complete without jumping into the arms of the San Jose faithful. What makes this celebration the best of the month is just the technique. Look how he hurdles that video board. Look at the precision in his two-footed hop. Look how he stuck his landing into the crowd. That, Quakes fans, is how you celebrate a goal.
Best Action Shot
Jubilation at The Farm - This shot absolutely captures the 3-1 win over the LA Galaxy in last weekend's California Clasico at Stanford Stadium! Just a few days earlier, Cordell Cato was called to the Trinidad & Tobago National team roster for the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Fast forward to Saturday, he scores the final goal against the Quakes' MLS rivals and provides us with the ultimate happy face!

A Tommy Selfie - After the Quakes 3-1 victory over rivals LA Galaxy, these girls managed to pull off the selfie of the century with Tommy Thompson. It looks as though the girls threw the phone down to Tommy in the tunnel before snapping the photo. Not suprised that Tommy was up for a fan selfie and kudos to @angeliqueee_v and her friends for winning the best tweet of June.
Best Performance
An Instant Classic - Face painting, food trucks, fireworks, 50,422 screaming Quakes fans, and a giant win over the LA Galaxy. That was the scene at Saturday's California Clasico on The Farm. A sold out Stanford Stadium hosted the largest crowd in Clasico history, and the boys in bliue and black - well, white and red - would not let them leave without fireworks on, or off the field. Highlight-reel goals from Wondo, Goodson, and Cato sent the venue into a frenzy. The Bay Area's largest fireworks display in history ignited the skies and capped off the festivities! We #BeatLA!

Fatai's Storytime - Fatai Prince joined Quakes fans of all ages at the Rose Garden Branch San Jose Public Library for Storytime! In addition to reading a book to the group, Fatai participated in few games with the children, including a nice rendition of head, shoulders, knees, and toes!
