Questions for Quincy

SAN JOSE, Calif. -
Welcome back to San Jose, Quincy! The UC Davis alumni returns to the Quakes after spending his rookie season with the club in 2009. You may remember Quincy on the pitch, but what is he like off of it? We got to know the club’s new signing by asking about his favorite music, how it feels to be back in San Jose and one interesting fact that a lot of fans don’t know about him.
1. How does it feel to be back with the Quakes?
It feels great! It's good to be back in San Jose where it all started and back in my home state. I'm excited to get things started.
2. What are you looking forward to the most about making your debut?
Just to get out there and help the team any way I can. Whether I start or come in as a sub, it'll be great just to get out there.
3. What are your thoughts on your knew home Avaya Stadium?
The venue's fantastic. I was on the other end of it during the Quakes inaugural match at the stadium and it was such a great atmosphere. The club's had several sell-outs this season so it'll be great to get out there in the Quakes colors.
4. Time for the hard-hitting questions. Are you ready?
[Laughs] Let's do it!

Dwayne the Rock Johnson. That would be dope.

I would be a CEO of a Fortune 500 company. I hope to do that once I’m done playing anyway, so I haven’t given up hope.

Do you know the movie Jumper where he instantaneously goes from point A to point B? That would be it. It’s better than flying because you can jump into the air and then fly and float. You basically get two powers in one.
8. If you had to be stuck on an island with one of your new teammates, who would it be and why?
I would probably say Sanna because when he speaks, it just makes me laugh. He just says the funniest stuff. It’s so easy to wind him up and once you do that, he goes on tangents.

I hold the pole vaulting
record at my high school.

My Dad. He still is until this day. Smartest guy I’ve ever met.
