SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes are partnering with Cityteam Ministries to provide and distribute food at Avaya Stadium for 3,000 families in need from the City of San Jose and Santa Clara County, presented by 7UP. From 1-4 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24, members of the Quakes front office, as well as volunteers from around the Bay Area, will help distribute meals to ensure everyone will have food to share with loved ones on Thanksgiving.

“The Earthquakes are an organization that is deeply rooted in the South Bay community,” said club President Dave Kaval. “Helping provide and distribute food for thousands of hungry families on Thanksgiving is a perfect opportunity to give back to the community that has supported us for so long.”

In addition to the team’s front office, Earthquakes midfielder Cordell Cato and mascot, Q, will also be in attendance.
