Midfielder Sanna Nyassi proved to be an excellent acquisition for the Earthquakes during the 2015 season. In fact, Marvell Wynne was the only Quake to appear in more matches for the club this year among all players that made their team debut in 2015.

Well Traveled: Nyassi joined the Quakes in December of 2014 after being selected in the MLS Re-Entry Draft. San Jose became the fifth team he played for in his first seven years in Major League Soccer.

Contributing Offensively: With two goals and two assists, Nyassi’s six points earned in 2015 were his most in a single season since 2012.

Game Winners: Both of Nyassi’s goals during the 2015 season were game-winners – the lone goal in a 1-0 win vs. Vancouver on April 11 and the first goal in a 2-0 win at Seattle Sounders FC on June 20. His strike against Seattle was nominated for MLS Goal of the Week (Week 16).

Career High: Nyassi tied his career high with 28 appearances (set in 2012) and set a career high with 19 starts.
