SAN JOSE, Calif. – San Jose Earthquakes goalkeeper David Bingham has been added to the United States Men's National Team roster for the upcoming January Training Camp in Carson, Calif. The camp takes place at the StubHub Center from January 10 to February 6 and includes a pair of friendlies against Iceland on Jan. 31 and Canada on Feb. 5.

Bingham, 26, has been with the Quakes since signing with Major League Soccer as a Generation adidas player following the 2011 SuperDraft. He became the team’s regular starting goalkeeper in 2015, playing every minute of the season and recording 12 clean sheets, tying the club record set by Pat Onstad in 2005.

Among all goalkeepers in MLS in 2015, Bingham ranked third in shutouts (12), fourth in saves (105), sixth in saves percentage (71.4%) and tied for seventh in wins (13). He was one of only two net minders to start all 34 regular season matches and allow fewer than 40 goals (David Ousted).

In addition, Earthquakes midfielders Fatai Alashe and Marc Pelosi have withdrawn from the camp due to injury.
