The San Jose Earthquakes earned some recognition for their outstanding 2015 season on the business side of the organization. The awards ceremony took place following the Major League Soccer SuperDraft in Baltimore, MD.

Vice president of sales and strategy, Jared Shawlee, a long-time member of the executive staff, was named MLS Corporate Executive of the Year thanks to his role in the Quakes successful move to Avaya Stadium. The team more than doubled their corporate partnership revenue and significantly increased the number of partners in 2015.

The club also received a number of ticketing honors following a season that saw San Jose sell out every regular season match at Avaya Stadium and post one of the highest renewal rates in MLS. Sales team members Jeff Sinclair, Ryan Trujillo and Kristina Wavomba picked up the New FSE Sales Bronze Award, while Anthony Perry landed the Group Ticket Sales Bronze Award.

The Quakes’ Fan Relations team, led by Director Heather Barone, completed a successful night for the club by picking up the Commissioner’s Award for season ticket renewals.

The MLS year-end awards recognize individuals and clubs for outstanding contributions off the field.
