SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes have loaned forward Mark Sherrod to the club’s USL affiliate Sacramento Republic FC ahead of their match against Arizona United SC on Saturday, April 2. Per the Right of Recall incorporated in the agreement, San Jose retains the right to recall the player at any point during the MLS regular season, subject to MLS roster compliance guidelines.
Sherrod, 25, has appeared in six games (two starts) since his trade to the Quakes from Orlando City SC prior to the 2015 season. He has played in 15 games, making five starts, tallying two goals and an assist in his three-year MLS career.
