Quincy Amarikwa - Celebration - San Jose Earthquakes vs. Toronto FC 07.16.16

Kickoff
Kickoff is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. at Rio Tinto Stadium. The match marks the Earthquakes’ first of two matchups with their Western Conference foes this season.

Broadcast Information
The game will be aired live on UniMas, 1590 KLIV (English) and 1370 KZSF (Spanish).
Last Look at All-Stars
Friday’s match provides a final look at some of the MLS stars that will feature in next week’s All-Star game at Avaya Stadium. Earthquakes goalkeeper David Bingham and forward Chris Wondolowski will face off against Real Salt Lake midfielder Kyle Beckerman before becoming short-term teammates against Arsenal.
Veteran vs. Veteran
USMNT teammates Chris Wondolowski and Nick Rimando aren’t strangers at opposite ends of the field. All seven of Wondolowski’s goals against Real Salt Lake, which leads all active players, came with Rimando in net. Wondolowski also scored one of his four career hat tricks against Rimando nearly four years to the day of Friday’s game. Can the Quakes captain get the best of his USMNT teammate again?

First Loss, First Win
The Quakes are looking to hand Real Salt lake their first loss at home this season, where they are currently 5-0-4.  San Jose is also searching for their first road win of the year. The Earthquakes have not captured a win at Rio Tinto Stadium since September 21, 2013.
