Earthquakes fans are excited about the hiring of general manager Jesse Fioranelli as they should be. A key part of Roma's executive staff over the past season and a half, the Giallorossi must move on without the analytics expert that has helped elevate the club’s scouting and development prowess. American-born Roma President James Pallotta had the following to say about Fioranelli’s departure from the club:
"Jesse was one of the key components for our sporting development. I would like to thank him personally for the excellent work and wish him a successful career at the helm of the San Jose Earthquakes."
Fioranelli will be introduced at a press conference at Avaya Stadium on Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 11 a.m. Earthquakes season ticket holders are invited, and encouraged, to attend.
