Leading into the holidays, you may be thinking about adding a furry friend to your family. Look no further than the San Jose Animal Care Center! They currently have more than 200 dogs available for adoption, and lots of sweet and affectionate kitties and rabbits.

Meet Leo Salinas

Meet Leo Salinas

When Shea was growing up, he would go on long runs every day with his family dog. Much like Shea, Leo Salinas loves to run! He is the perfect dog for an active human. Much like Shea along the flanks of the pitch, Leo Salinas can run forever and ever after soccer balls.

Leo Salinas is a 2-year-old male black and tan Doberman Pinscher mix. He has been at the shelter since August 28, 2022.

Meet Angel Stewart

Meet Angel Stewart

Jordan Stewart is the king of banter and has an incredible personality. When we told him about the opportunity to collaborate with a pet at the shelter, he asked for a dog that is “all talk and no bite.” You need not look much further than Angel Stewart! This three-legged pup has a vibrant personality and, despite having one leg less than most pups, he’s incredibly nimble. Angel Stewart is a 10-year-old white pitty that has been at the shelter since March 30, 2022. He’s very treat motivated!

This season, Ousseni Bouda impressed on the pitch with his foot skills and tenacity. Much like his human counterpart, Bouda Bear also knows skills, although for dogs, like sit, come, lie down, up-sit, stay, and shake! Bouda Bear is a sweet and happy little pup that loves belly rubs! Bouda Bear is a two-year-old brown pitty that has been at the shelter since April 16, 2022.

Meet Jackson

During matches, Jackson Yueill is often a golden streak seen running in the middle of the pitch. If you are looking for a beautiful golden husky to join your family, Jackson (the dog) is the perfect match for you.

This strapping fellow likes to go on walks or runs and is very cuddly and friendly. Jackson is a golden Siberian Huskey mix and has been at the shelter since October 6, 2022.

Joe Cannon is an OG Quake, and Cannon the pup has all the potential to become an OG in your family! Cannon is a two-year-old German Shepard. Much like Joe, he is athletic and is best suited with an owner who enjoys walks and the great outdoors. He has been at the shelter since August 23, 2022.

Back at his home in Spain, Carlos Akapo has three dogs and a cat. A true animal lover, he and Akapo the pup had an instant connection. Akapo the dog LOVES LOVES LOVES to chase soccer balls and run around. Together, they were having a ball. Akapo is a one-year-old dark gray pitty that has been at the shelter since September 30, 2022.

Meet Muma

Victor Bernardez was a crucial part of our defense. He may look tough on the pitch, but off the pitch, he’s known for his kindness. Muma is also a big ball of love. Much like the human, he’s very strong and loves to play. He would love a family that likes to go on walks. Muma is a male four-year-old gray and white pitty that has been at the shelter since October 9, 2022.
