How did you first get connected with the Earthquakes?

  • It was four years ago and they were looking for a jersey sponsor and we were looking for an organization to be with in terms of introducing our customers to it across North america. The Earthquakes were perfect. Inspiring, great integrity and a sense of community so we have been very pleased working with the Quakes

When you first saw the jersey get pressed with the Intermedia logo, what were your first thoughts?

  • We were all thrilled. One of the great things about the MLS is you get a big placement on the jersey so seeing it on there was a great thrill and still is.

What has been the most rewarding part of the partnership professionally and personally?

  • Professionally: Working with this franchise, this organization, it's an honor. Not only does the brand on the field represent very high quality organization but the folks in the front office are equally as great to work with. It feels like we have become part of the Earthquakes family
  • Personal: You know there's things you go through in life where your job creates an opportunity for you, like we are lifelong soccer fans. My whole family goes to as many games as we can, home and away.

How have you taken to the sport, were you already a soccer fan before?

  • I was a sports fan in general, but I have become a huge soccer fan now. Being able to talk to the players and hear their thought process on plays has been such a unique experience.

In your four years, is there a particular memory that sticks out?

  • Well almost every game delivers a moment. But my favorite moments were when Shea Salinas and Wondo played together and were able to connect. We take some clients out to games and ya know I would be sitting there telling them when this guy gets the ball this is what's going to happen, then it would and it was amazing.

Other than the partnership, what keeps you invested in supporting the club?

  • One of the things I really love about the club is its connection to the community. It has been very exciting to be a part of that and to know it not only plays soccer, but engages in the community a large amount. As we have learned about the sport and really become you know experts in the sport, it's almost like in our blood now. We will be lifelong fans for sure.

What makes you most excited about the future of this club?

  • First of all I am excited for the future of the MLS. You know with Messi joining and the World Cup, I think it's exciting to see all of these events coming that will raise the level of the MLS. In regard to the team, I'm excited about the level of playing and I as well as the academy. You just look at these other players that are already making their way up, there is going to be a stronger team.
