Explain what it means to you to get this honor.
It just makes my heart full. We are not one of the families that sit in the midline, we sit in the corner section, but we’re dedicated.
How long have you been cheering for the Black and Blue?
’96 because we were at the first game. They took pictures of Eric Wynalda making shots so they could make that poster. There are people in the background and my son’s picture is in there. Eric Wynalda signed a poster for him.
What’s been your most memorable moment here?
Seeing the championships were really great and the comeback that we made when Landon Donovan was on the team. But the most recent one was when Wondo scored the four goals.
Who is your favorite player and why?
I used to like Corrales and then it became Wondo because of his energy on the field. Constant movement on the forward line and he could score great goals. He was just so much fun to watch.
What would be your message to Quakes Fans out there?
Don’t give up. Even when the team is playing poorly, you see people that have been here for years, and it’s like family. Just stay with it. Black and blue forever.
