Explain what it means to you to get this honor.

It’s a great honor because I’ve been here for 26 years and it’s just awesome. They’ve recognized me in the past for what I do, but this time, it’s official.

When was the first year that you started working here? And what do you remember about it?

I started with Brian Jarvis at Spartan Stadium. We were volunteers. I was there to bring my kids, my girls.

How did you hear about the Earthquakes or the Clash at the time? Were you a fan beforehand?

I didn’t get into soccer until ’97 when we went to PAL Soccer for my girls. That’s when I got into soccer, and then got us in there in ’98. I coached for several years.

What is your most memorable moment working at the club?

We brought our teams in and we got to meet Landon Donovan and take pictures.

Who is your favorite Quakes player of all time?

Troy Dayak. He’s an awesome guy and he’s just hardcore.

What would your message to Quakes fans be?

Hang in there. They’re going to get better.

What do you love most about your work here?

I love the people. The people and the fans are the reason why I come here.

Where are you usually stationed [at PayPal Park]?

I walk out front or I’m at the ticketing. Then, I go to the parking lot after for valet. [The fans] all recognize me.
