2003 | The Greatest Comeback EverOn the road to claiming their second MLS Cup, the Earthquakes complete considerably the greatest comeback to date in MLS. Down 4-0 on aggregate to LA, the Quakes comeback to win 5-4 and move on the the Western Conference final. The Quakes eventually go on to claim their second MLS Cup title on November 23, 2003 (pictured). | |
2005 | First Supporters' ShieldTeam sets MLS record for fewest losses in league history with four and becomes second team in MLS history to surpass 60 points in a season. With a regular season record of 18-4-10 and 64 points, the Earthquakes clinch club's first Supporters' Shield. | |
2012 | Another Record-Breaking SeasonQuakes finish regular season with the league-best 19-6-9 record and 66 points, third most in MLS history. The total earns San Jose its second Supporters' Shield. Chris Wondolowski matches the longtime record of Roy Lassiter for most goals in a season (27), earning him his second MLS Golden Boot award.
