ACADEMY: Cam Cilley named a player to watch in 2019 College Cup

2018 - Academy - Cam Cilley

Major League Soccer has named former San Jose Earthquakes Academy player Cam Cilley as one of the 17 professional prospects to watch in the 2019 Men's NCAA College Cup.

Cilley is a true freshman at Stanford University who has already made an impression on head coach Jeremy Gunn. The Quakes Academy alumnus is on track to become a mainstay for the Cardinal, making 17 appearances and starting in Stanford's last 10 matches of the 2019 season.

It's easy to say that the Quakes will be rooting on Stanford and their four Academy alumni in the College Cup semifinals. Cilley, Arda Bulut, Will Richmond and Keegan Tingey will look to defeat Georgetown in the NCAA College Cup semifinals on Friday, December 13 at 3 p.m. PT on ESPNU.
