When the San Jose Earthquakes face Real Salt Lake on Friday night at Rio Tinto Stadium, two of the top-five teams in the Supporters’ Shield race will be squaring off. San Jose (2-1-0) has won consecutive matches by 2+ goals and Real Salt Lake (2-0-0) is the only team with a perfect record so far.
With the San Francisco Giants, Oakland A’s and San Jose Sharks all playing on Friday evening, the Quakes match will only air live on the NBC Sports app to authorized cable and satellite subscribers before running via tape delay on NBC Sports Bay Area at 10:30pm. The match will also air live on the radio in English (KNBR 1050) and Spanish (1370 KZSF) as normal.
