#ByeToTheBuck Memory: Farewell, Corrales -

October 26, 2013: Farewell, Captain Corrales
Ramiro Corrales was the last remaining active player from Major League Soccer’s inaugural 1996 season. The Salinas native came to San Jose in a trade with the Columbus Crew on March 4, 1996 and finally decided to retire after the 2013 season. During his 17-year professional career, he made stops in New York, Miami and Norway, but the Earthquakes were always his hometown team. To commemorate Corrales’ final game, his teammates donned jerseys from his past seasons for the pre-game starting XI photo.

It was a memorable moment that we'll always remember from Buck Shaw.
