The San Jose Earthquakes and CEFCU are proud to offer "Goals for Education" - a grant opportunity to support eligible schools or their Parent/Teacher Organizations (PTOs) in advancing educational initiatives that benefit students and school communities. Through this program, two (2) eligible California schools (or their PTOs) will each be awarded $5,000 to use toward educational programming, resources, or projects.

California primary and secondary schools (or their PTOs) are invited to apply by August 1, 2026, and funds may be used at the chosen  recipient’s discretion for educational purposes that best meet the needs of their students. Whether supporting classroom learning, enrichment opportunities, or school‑wide initiatives, this grant is intended to provide flexibility and meaningful impact.

Each applicant must meet each of the following criteria to be eligible for consideration:

  • Complete and submit the below application by August 1, 2026;
  • Be a primary and/or secondary school (or its PTO) located in Alameda County, Santa Clara County and Contra Costa County of California (any schools offering education beyond 12th grade will be ineligible);
  • Be a registered non-profit in California and in good standing.
