Emmanuel is a San Jose native and played soccer competitively at the collegiate level at San Jose State from 2011 to 2015. After he graduated with his bachelor’s from SJSU, he completed his Master’s degree in Kinesiology in the Spring of 2018. Emmanuel has been a strength and conditioning coach since 2016 and has worked with a variety of sports including men’s and women’s soccer, American football, baseball/softball, swimming and diving, and other sports. Emmanuel returns to the Earthquakes after a stint as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Quakes Academy form 2019 to 2020. He is currently a PhD candidate in East Tennessee State University’s doctoral program in Sport Performance and Sport Physiology.
