There will not be any re-entry p
rivileges for this event.  Once you exit the stadium, you will not be permitted to re-enter. Fans wanting to stay for the Academy match can pick up their potential post-game distribution items at Guest Services behind section 101 (while supplies last).**

The San Jose Earthquakes lost a hard-fought match to FC Dallas 1-0 at Toyota Stadium. The best chance for either team in the first half came in the 22nd minute. After collecting the ball inside the 18-yard box, FC Dallas forward Blas Perez slotted his low shot past Quakes keeper David Bingham, but defender Paulo Renato, making his first-career MLS start, was there to clear the ball off the goal line and keep the game scoreless. After a handful of chances for both teams in the second half, FC Dallas broke the deadlock in the 92nd minute, when a shot by Moises Hernandez from the top of the penalty area was redirected by the head of Blas Perez and into the net. 
History of the Quakes – FC Dallas Rivalry
The Earthquakes were 9-1-4 in the final 14 games against Dallas prior to San Jose’s relocation to Houston … The Quakes posted a seven-game winning streak during that stretch from July 20, 2002-Apr. 15, 2004 … San Jose and Dallas met in an important match on Oct. 16, 2004, as San Jose needed a win or a tie to advance to the playoffs, while Dallas needed a win to clinch the final berth in the playoffs. The two teams played to a 2-2 tie at the Cotton Bowl, giving San Jose a spot in the playoffs, while Dallas did not qualify. Ramiro Corrales scored the Quakes second goal in that game … On Sept. 27, 2003, San Jose’s Dwayne De Rosario scored the fastest goal from the start of the game in MLS history, netting a goal 11 seconds into the match at Spartan Stadium against Dallas.
