From the Inaugural Player Draft in 1996 to the first official MLS SuperDraft in 2000, the Quakes have made a total of 20, first-round selections in MLS draft history. Two-time MLS Cup champion Richard Mulrooney (1999) and eight-year club veteran Shea Salinas (2008) are a product of the club's activity in the first-round, paving the way for recent first-round selections Fatai Alashe, Andrew Tarbell and Jackson Yueill.
Ahead of Friday's 2018 MLS SuperDraft in Philadelphia, we take a look at the full list of first-round draft picks in San Jose history.
