On Thursday, March 1 the San Jose Earthquakes hosted a FIFA 18 tournament at AFKgg, the popular gaming lounge and bar in Downtown San Jose during MLS Is Back Week. The tournament had a 32 player single-elimination format with premium prizes for the top three players. Jesus “Chuy” Ochoa defeated his opponent 3-1 in the championship match, earning him a VIP Quakes experience for Opening Night on March 3 and a TCL 43” 4K UltraHD TV. The second place contestant received an autographed Quakes jersey, and the third place contestant received a pair of tickets to the Quakes friendly match against Liga MX’s Club Leon on March 24.
