Don’t miss the first-ever Quakes First Responder Cup featuring the San Jose Fire Department and the San Jose Police Department Saturday, March 3 following the Quakes Opening Night match at Avaya Stadium! Right after the match concludes between San Jose and Minnesota, our city’s finest will go head-to-head with bragging rights on the line.


Earthquakes Hall of Famer Joe Cannon will coach San Jose Police Department, while club color analyst and legend Chris Dangerfield will manage the San Jose Fire Department. Below is information regarding the highly anticipated match following the Home Opener:

  • Police Car On-Site for Fans 
  • Firetruck display in Quakes Epicenter for fans
  • National Anthem performance from a member of the First Responder Community
  • First Goal to be performed by Kyle Hirsch of the SJFD
  • Quakes Legends will be coaching each side with Joe Cannon coaching Police and Chris Dangerfield coaching Fire!
  • Special Ticket Packages available for Police, Fire and EMS communities including hat and seat for $35 with seating together for First Responder community in section 134 of Avaya Stadium.
  • The winner of the match will be awarded with the First Responder Cup Drum
