On Wednesday, the USL announced that Reno 1868 FC’s Dane Kelly, Chris Wehan and Jimmy Ockford earned spots on the USL’s all-league teams.

Kelly, the 2017 USL Golden Boot winner, made the league’s first team in his first year in Reno. The Jamaican striker tallied 18 goals in 2017, the second most in league history. The USL veteran was the driving force behind the expansion team’s impressive 75 goals, a new USL record.

Wehan, the league’s assist leader, also received a first-team nod. His 12 assists tied a league record in addition to his eight goals on the campaign.

Ockford, a stalwart in Reno’s backline, earned a spot on the USL second team. As captain, the 25-year-old logged a team-high 2,759 minutes while notching four goals.
