Happy Mother's Day, Quakes fans!
Today's a special day to recognize the most loving person in your life, your backbone and your #1 fan, on and off the field. After all the times she's driven you to soccer practice, taken you to soccer games or dropped you off at a Quakes match, today's the day to show your mom how much you really love and appreciate her.
We caught up with some Quakes' players and asked them what they love about their mom's so much!

Tommy Thompson: "It's difficult to decide on just one memory, but one of my favorites has to be when my mom decided to make the two and a half hour drive down to our scrimmage against C.S Vida. Unfortunately, my dad couldn't make the trip, but that didn't stop my #1 fan from making the trek by herself. I was so happy that she came because I ended up scoring my first goal for San Jose in that game. It was a special moment for me and to be able to share that with someone who has been there by my side supporting me since the beginning was something i'll never forget. Love you, Mom."

Fatai Alashe: "You can say my favorite memory is when she ran out of gas driving me home because she wanted to go to the gas station that was across the street instead of the one we were right next to. Love you, Mom."

Jordan Stewart: "I wouldn't say I have a favorite memory, but I know my mother is my best friend & she has shown me what unconditional love is."

Steven Lenhart: "My mom should have been a formula one driver. Every time we got in the car you would have thought we were being chased by the cops, but no, we were just going to The Troy Club for an afternoon swim. Love you, Mom."

Khari Stephenson: "If it wasn’t for my mom, I wouldn’t be where I am today. She means the world to me. Happy Mother’s Day, Mom."

Marvell Wynne: "There are too many great memories with my mom. What I like best about my mom is her great smile!"

JJ Koval: "My mom, Lisa, always has the biggest smile on her face. She is such an amazing example of love and sacrifice to me. I am so thankful for her. Happy Mother's Day!"

Mark Sherrod: "There was a mirror in our house growing up, that everybody would always walk by. Whenever my mom and I would pass it, she would wrap her arms around me, and we would just put the biggest smile on our faces and say "CHEESE!", and look at the mirror as if somebody was taking a picture of us."

Adam Jahn: "One of the things I like most about my mom is that she has such a positive impact on everyone around her. She is so kind and joyful. I can't help but smile whenever I see her!"
