Steven Lenhart scored his first career goal with the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday in a 2-0 win against the Houston Dynamo and now finds himself on the ballot for MLS Goal of the Week.
Lenhart hammered home a beautiful cross from second-year defender Steven Beitashour with a diving header to the near post. The goal stood up as the game winner to extend San Jose's unbeaten streak to five.
Also nominated this week are Nick LaBrocca (Chivas USA), Jean Alexandre (Real Salt Lake), Marvin Chavez (FC Dallas) and Danny Mwanga (Philadelphia Union).
