SAN JOSE, Calif. – The MLS Disciplinary Committee has suspended San Jose Earthquakes defender Andres Imperiale one game and issued an undisclosed fine for a serious foul play that endangered the safety of an opponent in the 31st minute of their match against Sporting Kansas City on April 24 (VIDEO). Imperiale will serve the suspension during San Jose’s next MLS match on Saturday, April 30 against the Philadelphia Union. 


In addition, Earthquakes midfielder Anibal Godoy has been fined an undisclosed amount for violating league policy regarding hands to the face, head or neck an opponent in the 77th minute of their match against Sporting Kansas City on April 24 (VIDEO)
