NEWS: Earthquakes Unveil Talent for Exclusive Club Content on Apple TV’s MLS Season Pass

SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes have unveiled their talent team for exclusive club content on Apple TV’s MLS Season Pass: Chris Dangerfield, Kylen Mills, and Carlos Yustis. The trio of experienced broadcasters and television personalities will host weekly Quakes shows and provide fans and global viewers a premier entertainment experience in the team’s Club Room.

From team highlights and exclusive player interviews to match previews and entertaining segments, the three presenters will headline the club’s weekly content throughout the 2023 season, creating the Quakes’ new epicenter of entertainment and content. All shows and video series will be uploaded for streaming in the Quakes’ Club Room on MLS Season Pass, with the first segment available next week ahead of the Earthquakes’ 2023 season opener vs. Atlanta United FC on Saturday, Feb. 25 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Select guests, including former athletes, local figures, and soccer icons, will also be featured on the Quakes’ weekly shows and content.

Chris Dangerfield is a former Quakes player who has served as a color analyst for the club on NBC Sports Bay Area & California over the last nine years and from 1996-99. His work as a broadcaster follows a great playing career in both the North American Soccer League and Western Soccer Alliance. In the NASL, Dangerfield was a key midfielder from 1982-84, scoring 14 goals and notching 14 assists for the Quakes in that span. He helped the 1983 Quakes to an undefeated season at home and a semifinal finish in the playoffs. He was inducted into the Earthquakes Hall of Fame in 2018 for his work on and off the field.

Kylen Mills is an award-winning sports broadcaster with over 10 years of experience. She has served as a play-by-play broadcaster, analyst, host, and sideline reporter on various prominent networks including Pac-12, NBC Sports Bay Area, ESPN+, and Paramount+, among others. In addition to the Earthquakes, the Chicago native previously covered the San Francisco 49ers, Golden State Warriors, San Francisco Giants, Oakland A’s, and the San Jose Sharks as a sports anchor and reporter for KRON4 News Bay Area from 2020-22. Mills most recently joined the Pac-12 Network as a play-by-play broadcaster and fill-in host, while also covering San Jose State University football and basketball as a sideline reporter for NBC Sports Bay Area and National Women’s Soccer League matches as a fill-in analyst.

Carlos Yustis is the lead sports anchor for Telemundo 48 Bay Area and has covered some of the biggest sporting events in the world, including the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cups. He has also served as a Spanish-language analyst for the San Francisco 49ers for the past two seasons. The Mexico City native was previously a producer and reporter for the Telemundo Network in Miami from 2010-16, covering the London Olympic Games in 2012 and the Rio Olympic Games in 2016. Yustis also served as the announcer and commentator for the U17 and U20 FIFA World Cups, the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, and the FIFA Women's World Cup in 2015, as well as the FIFA Futsal World Cup and CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers in 2016 for TelemundoDeportes.com. He was also a sideline reporter for the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup in France.

About MLS Season Pass

The now-available MLS Season Pass will feature every match of the regular season, Audi MLS Cup Playoffs, and Leagues Cup1 all in one place, with consistent match times and no blackouts — a first in live sports broadcasting. It will also feature pregame shows, a whip-around show that will provide live look-ins from every match and feature every goal, penalty kick, and big save, as well as analysis and discussion from all the key moments, and a postgame wrap-up to close each night.

All matches will feature commentary in either English or Spanish, while matches involving Canadian teams will also offer commentary in French. Pregame shows and the postgame wrap-up will be available in English and Spanish. Fans in the US and Canada will also have the option to select their home team’s radio for broadcast audio on the Apple TV app where available.

Subscribing to MLS Season Pass

Fans can now subscribe to MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app for $14.99 per month during the season or $99 per season, and Apple TV+ subscribers can sign up at a special price of $12.99 per month and $79 per season. A subscription to MLS Season Pass will be included with each full-season ticket account. Through Family Sharing, up to six family members can share the subscription using their own Apple ID and password.
