Quakes announce partnership with Alaska Air

SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes announced today that the club has reached an agreement with Alaska Airlines to give fans the chance to win a trip to four exciting locations through the ‘Score a Direct Kick Sweepstakes’.


The Earthquakes will select three winners from four different drawings in 2012. Winners will receive two tickets to an Earthquakes home game where they will participate in a halftime contest to win a trip courtesy of Alaska Airlines. Entries will be accepted beginning on April 13 at 9 a.m. PT and will continue until the following submission deadlines for each drawing:


May 5:Cabo San Lucas
July 28:Hawaii
Sept. 5:Reno/Tahoe
Oct. 7:Los Angeles


Fans will have the chance to earn additional contest entries by sharing the contest with their friends and followers on Facebook and Twitter thanks to digital infrastructure created by GAGA Sports & Entertainment.

All fans must enter online by May 5 to be eligible to win tickets to the Earthquakes’ home game against Columbus Crew on Saturday, May 19 and participate in the halftime contest. Once fans have entered the contest, they are automatically entered for each subsequent drawing during the promotion.
