Feb. 22, 2001 – Earthquakes Acquire Defender Ramiro Corrales from MetroStars
The Earthquakes acquired Ramiro Corrales from the MetroStars in exchange for goalkeeper Paul Grafer, marking his second stint with San Jose. Corrales would go on to lead the Quakes to MLS Cup championships in 2001 and 2003 and set numerous club records before retiring after the 2013 season.
