The MLS Cup Playoffs Western Conference Semifinal second leg match, presented by Kaiser Permanente, will kick off at 8:00 p.m. PST on Nov. 7 at Buck Shaw Stadium. Gates will open at 6:00 p.m.
The 2012 Supporters' Shield holders will host the winnner of Thursday's play-in game between the fifth-seeded Vancouver Whitecaps FC and fourth-seeded LA Galaxy. Television information for the Western Conference Semifinal second leg will be announced shortly. The play-in match will start at 7:30 p.m. PST on Thursday, Nov. 1 and will be televised by both NBC Sports and Univision.
The 2012 season marks the second time that the Quakes have hoisted the coveted Supporters Shield in their club history after a remarkable 2005 season. The Quakes look to ride their nine-game unbeaten streak into the MLS Cup Playoffs. The first leg of the Western Conference Semifinal will be on Nov. 4 in either Los Angeles or Vancouver. The time and location of the match will also depend on the result of the play-in match.
