The San Jose Earthquakes weren't the only winners on Saturday. The club raised $10,500 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation thanks to the third annual A&W Root Beer Float Night.
The amount raised set a new club record for the event. Combine that with San Jose's 1-0 win against Seattle Sounders FC, and it was one successful night.
