SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes announced today that goalkeeper David Bingham will train with FC Copenhagen from Nov. 7-20.
The third-year Bay Area native will depart on Wednesday for a two-week stint with the defending Danish Superliga champions. He has five appearances during his three seasons in San Jose. Bingham was an All-American at Cal before landing with the Earthquakes through a weighted lottery on Jan. 26, 2011. He started one regular season game in 2013, a 2-1 win against FC Dallas on Oct. 26 at Buck Shaw Stadium.
FC Copenhagen is fourth in the Danish Superliga through 14 games this season.
