Is there anyone cooler than Krazy George?

By the looks of the photos below, probably not.

The inventor of the "wave," Krazy George has been the quintessential Earthquakes cheerleader since the early days of the organization. Ask anyone who attended a Quakes game at Spartan Stadium, and they'll all remember Krazy George and his extreme antics to get the crowd pumped.

I mean, arriving on field from a helicopter? Been there, done that. Casually being escorted on field by two real black bears? Come on, it's just another day in the life of Krazy George.

Time's have changed since then - and, we're pretttttty sure our operations team won't allow two live animals on the field before the game -  but we're excited to host Krazy George as a special guest before Saturday's 40th Anniversary Match (Quakes vs. FC Dallas, 7:30 p.m kickoff TICKETS). Just like old times, he'll be getting the crowd excited before the teams walk out. We don't know what he has up his sleeve, but we're sure it will do the trick.

For now, enjoy our five favorite photos from Krazy George's crazy past:
