Quick question – how far away are you from the Epicenter of Soccer?
From Japan to Greece to Germany, we’ve got fans all around the world, calculating their distance to our state-of-the-art new stadium, opening in 2015.
By submitting a photo to our #MilesToEpicenter Contest presented by Alaska Air, fans have a chance to show their distance from the Epicenter from anywhere in the world and win prizes by sharing their photos. You can print out the sign from sjearthquakes.com or pick one up from the Quakes Front Office. Just calculate your distance, write it in, snap a photo with the sign and upload the photo through our website or Facebook page.
Fans can also share their photo with the hashtag #MilesToEpicenter on Twitter and Instagram and vote for their favorite submission. The photo with the most votes will receive a trip for four to an Earthquakes away match, which includes airfare on Alaska Airlines and hotel.
There’s still time to submit your photo! The contest with Alaska Airlines wraps up when we open the brand new Levi’s Stadium vs. Seattle Sounders FC on August 2.
